Venus Magazine is an undergraduate literary magazine ran by students at the University of Iowa that publishes romantic fiction and poetry. We aim to amplify the voices of romance writers of all backgrounds, sexualities, and genders on the University of Iowa campus, seeking to encourage diversity and inclusion within the genre and bring more love to the genre of love.

Yes, Venus is one of the few undergraduate literary magazines that allows for inter-staff submissions. Please note, that these submissions in no way will be favored or reviewed any differently, as our editing process is objective and anonymous.
Venus will be publishing print and online copies of each issue. Once our issues are published, they will be available to read for free on our website, or physical copies will be available on campus.
